The order from Barbara Canales will be effective from 6 a.m. Friday, July 3, to 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, according to Port Aransas City Manager Dave Parsons.
The judge’s order extends to all of the beaches in the county, except for Mustang Island State Park.
“Mustang Island State Park will have their own rules in place, and if you are interested, I can get you those rules,” Canales said during a news conference late this afternoon at Corpus Christi City Hall. “They are governed by a different political jurisdiction, and they have completely different rules and access.”
